A Funeral Mass held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Saint Olaf Catholic Church in Bountiful. A visitation held Monday, August 19, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful.<\/p>\n

Lori shared her husband’s cause of death<\/a> in posts on her Facebook page that read:<\/p>\n

To those of you in my Facebook family who may have come into contact with Travis through his years working as a physical therapist, I share this you:<\/p>\n

My beloved husband, Travis, who was pure of heart with the gentlest of souls passed away yesterday at the age of 44. He was the kindest man I have ever known. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family. Our lives will never be the same.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This has been a pretty terrible past week. It was my husband\u2019s birthday, our 15 year wedding anniversary and the week we buried him in our hometown in Missouri.<\/p>\n

Many of you know my husband passed away. What you may not know is he took his own life.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not sharing this with you because I want your sympathy. I\u2019m telling you because I want your attention.<\/p>\n

Depression can be fatal. But, it doesn\u2019t have to be. If you have severe depression, please know you can\u2019t work your way out of it alone. You need professional help.<\/p>\n

When I asked my husband if he was okay, I trusted him when he said he was. He was an expert at hiding it because he thought he was \u201cbeing weak.\u201d Depression is not a weakness.<\/p>\n

Depression is a disease. If you love someone who has depression, please learn from my mistake. Get involved in their treatment. Push your way in if you have to.<\/p>\n

I have a sense of clarity and hindsight now I wouldn\u2019t wish upon anyone. If anything, maybe now I can do some good.<\/p>\n

I cannot begin to express my sincere gratitude to those of you who have written messages of hope and prayer to me following the death of my beloved husband, Travis.<\/p>\n

I feel so much love amid the depths of my sorrow. I thought I was alone. But, I realize now I am far from it. You have wrapped your arms around me in a time of terrible grief. I can only hope I can give back to you what you have given me. Thank you. \u2764\ufe0f<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
