Ashley Maynard accident<\/a>: Ashley Maynard death happened November 19, 2019 after a tragic car accident which also killed her son Vince.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Survived by\u00a0Will, Ashley’s husband and Lucy, Vince\u2019s big sister, Ashley and baby Vincent\u00a0were found dead inside a car that was pulled from a pond in Roxana.<\/p>\n

According to authorities, a\u00a0passerby had placed a 911 call to deputies when they noticed headlights beaming out of the water. The 911 call was regarding a car in a retention pond on Wagon Wheel Road near Wanda around 6:40 p.m. Tuesday November 19, 2019.<\/p>\n

The car was pulled from the water early Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

Ashley Maynard was 34 years old, her son Vincent was only 7 years old.<\/p>\n

Foul play is not suspected at this time, and it “appears to be a tragic accident-type scenario”, says\u00a0Madison County Sheriff’s Lt. Brian Koberna.<\/p>\n

This gym is more than a place to play and have fun. It builds relationships and community. A HUGE part of the We Rock Edwardsville family has been lost.<\/p>\n

Ashley Maynard and her son Vince were killed in a car accident yesterday. Ashly has been a part of the gym since before it began.<\/p>\n

She even began working here to help with after school care provided for our community young people.<\/p>\n

Ashly was a huge part of the Madison County Special Needs network.<\/p>\n

Vince has been here since the beginning as well. He played here, he did camps here, and his big smile and boisterous voice could be seen and heard throughout.<\/p>\n

They will be missed.<\/p>\n

Hug your family tight today. And be sure and keep Will, her husband and Lucy, Vince\u2019s big sister and \u201cvoice\u201d, in your thoughts and prayers.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re as much a part of our community as Ashly and Vince.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
