Beloved Luke MacDonald took his life on August 10th, 2022, at the age of 19. He is survived by his loving parents Mike and Kelly and older brother Gavin who Luke loved to introduce as his \u201clittle brother\u201d, Grandparents Bob and Doreen Bell, Joan and David MacDonald, Uncle Norm and Suzanne, Aunt Janine and Uncle Alberto, cousins Reed, Gabriela, and Elijah.<\/p>\n
Before his death<\/a>, Luke attended Humewood Community School, Rawlinson Community School and graduated from Northern Secondary School where he played on the football and rugby teams.
\nHe would have been starting his third year at University of Guelph in the Environmental Science program and was a proud member of the University of Guelph Gryphon Rugby team as a Prop.<\/p>\nA statement from his family continues below:<\/p>\n
Those who knew Luke knew his big heart and even bigger hugs!\u00a0He was happiest when outdoors with friends and family, sleeping in a tent, running crazy lines down rapids in kayaks and canoes, skiing down mountains and playing rugby as a Red Knight, Gryphon and as a \u201cFront Line Lad\u201d with the Toronto Nomads.<\/p>\n
We are going to miss Luke\u2019s infectious goofy laugh during movies, his fantastic creations in the kitchen and crazy card playing skills.<\/p>\n
