It follows\u00a0a high-speed crash Friday in East Garfield Park on the West Side and has left a man\u00a0killed and two\u00a0women\u00a0critically injured.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The driver was pronounced dead<\/a> at the scene while the two women, aged 19 and 21 were taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.<\/p>\n

The women were passengers in the crash.<\/p>\n

According to Chicago police, the driver of the Jeep SUV was speeding west in at 9:53 p.m. when it hit a parked vehicle in the 3100 block of West Lake Street.<\/p>\n

Before coming to a stop, the Jeep then hit a metal pillar.<\/p>\n
