Dorothy Brown shooting death – dead, obituary, funeral plans: Dorothy Brown death happened June 3, 2020 after she was shot in her head in an Arlington, Tx apartment complex on May 27, 2020. She was only 14 years old.<\/strong><\/p>\n

14 year old Dorothy Brown in Arlington, Texas was allegedly killed by an 18-year-old boy who she had been dating for 6 months named Javien Brown.<\/p>\n

18-year-old Javien Brown is behind bars charged with murder.<\/p>\n

The Arlington Police Department had responded to a shooting call on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 1:44 a.m. in the 2500 block of Forest Point Drive at an apartment complex. When officers arrived, they found Dorothy Brown with a gunshot wound to the head.<\/p>\n

She was flown to a local hospital for treatment but died June 3, 2020.<\/p>\n

Investigators obtained an arrest warrant on May 29, 2020 for Brown and took him into custody.<\/p>\n

According to the warrant, Dorothy and Javien were in a relationship for the last six months.<\/p>\n

They argued the night she was killed.<\/p>\n

A witness told police that when she told Javien he \u201cshot her,\u201d he responded by saying, \u201cI don\u2019t care.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lt. Chris Cook with the Arlington police says Dorothy was listed as a runaway. She lived in Dallas with her parents, but had recently left home and was staying with a friend in Arlington.<\/p>\n
