Isabella Thallas death – dead, obituary, funeral plans:\u00a0Beloved\u00a0Bella Thallas died June 10th, 2020 and suspect\u00a0Michael Close has been arrested after the Denver shooting\u00a0near Coors Field on Wednesday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Isabella Thallas had just celebrated her 21st birthday on 9th June 2020.<\/p>\n

Michael Close Denver shooting\u00a0in the 2900 block of North Huron Street at about 11:42 a.m Wednesday left one person killed and another wounded.<\/p>\n

36 year old Michael Close was taken into custody about 1:30 p.m. by local law enforcement in Jefferson County off U.S. 285 after\u00a0a search in which police officers warned residents to shelter inside and stay away from their windows.<\/p>\n

Michael Close, 36, was arrested and\u00a0is being held for investigation of first-degree murder and aggravated assault.<\/p>\n

The victim,\u00a026-year-old Darian Simon,\u00a0was taken to the hospital is expected to survive.<\/p>\n

Neighbor Ronan O\u2019Shea, who lives nearby, said he heard six to 12 gunshots in rapid succession and that police officers flooded the neighborhood.<\/p>\n

A motive for the attack was revealed as\u00a0suspect Michael Close made his first appearance in Denver County Court on Thursday.<\/p>\n

A probable cause (PC) statement from Denver Police says\u00a0Simon told investigators he and his girlfriend were walking their dog, when Simon gave the dog a command to use the bathroom.<\/p>\n

Simon said someone yelled at him from a ground floor apartment asking if he was going to train the dog or just yell at it.<\/p>\n

Simon told police he tried ignoring the person in the apartment. Then he said he saw the person in the apartment pointing a gun at him, which he believed to be a pellet gun.<\/p>\n

Simon then heard multiple gunshots and ran away until he couldn’t run any further due to injuries he sustained in the shooting.<\/p>\n

The PC statement\u00a0for the arrest of Close said Simon was shot in the leg and buttocks.<\/p>\n
