The family is extremely grateful for the love and support you have shown as this news began to circulate last night. Your love was felt and the family is comforted to know that you are praying.<\/p>\n<p>We are still in the throes of the COVID-19 pandemic and it is with that in mind that we ask you to please refrain from visiting the family&#8217;s home right now. We know that many of want to come by to pay your respects but we must ask that you don&#8217;t at this time. The family will announce arrangements as soon as they are finalized and that information will be shared with everyone.<\/p>\n<p>Pastor Michelle, Brother Delroy, Adrian and Anna thank you in advance for respecting their wishes and allowing them time to figure out what this new reality without their beloved Fitzy will look like.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fpastormichelle.thomas%2Fposts%2F10157531205377309&amp;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"293\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>Fitz Thomas Riverside drowning: How Fitz Thomas death happened<\/h2>\n<p>Fitz Thomas lost his life after he went\u00a0swimming with friends June 4, 2020 at River Creek in Ashburn and a tragic accident occurred causing him to drown in the current.<\/p>\n<p>Fitz had gone swimming across the confluence of Goose Creek and the Potomac River on June 4 with friends.<\/p>\n<p>The Loudoun County Sheriff\u2019s Office says as the friends crossed the water, they saw Fitz go underwater.<\/p>\n<p>Attempts to search for Fitz Thomas finally had him pulled from the river after he was underwater for a period of time before being located.<\/p>\n<p>Rescue officers rushed Thomas to Inova Loudoun Hospital but he was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n<p>Please <a href=\"https:\/\/lailasnews.com\/international\/sympathy-messages-what-to-write-tell-a-loved-one-grieving-a-death\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">say a prayer<\/a> for the grieving family and friends as you read the tributes below confirming Fitz Thomas<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>death.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Our community is mourning the devastating loss of Fitz Thomas.
