Truett Mckeehan death, obituary: Tobymac son cause of death is pending autopsy results.
The Nashville Fire Department had responded to Tobymac son home at 10:50 a.m. after getting a call about a person in cardiac arrest.
Truett Mckeehan was pronounced dead on arrival.
Truett Mckeehan, oldest TobyMac son and child, passed away at the age of 21 on October 22, 2019 at home in Nashville
A statement released by a representative for the family reads:
“Truett did pass away at home in the Nashville area sometime Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.
“Cause of death has not been determined. Toby was traveling back from Canada and did not get home to be with his family until after midnight last night so there is no statement.
We just ask that everyone please be respectful of their privacy during this time and allow them to grieve their loss.”

Truett Mckeehan parents are TobyMac and his wife, Amanda. He was born in 1998, September 4.
He has four siblings: Twins Moses and Marlee, adopted in 2002, Leo, born in 2004, and Judah, born in 2006.
Truett Foster McKeehan was professionally known as truDog or TRU. He was the oldest son of former dc Talk member tobyMac and his wife, Amanda. He has appeared several times on tobyMac’s albums as emerging rap artist truDog.
The first time he appeared rapping on a tobyMac album was TruDog: the Return, where on Trudog, from Momentum he was making noise in Toby’s studio.
Truett has been also known for skateboarding, a hobby he is fond of and quite good at.

Sometimes when we lose a young soul, I feel God has blessed the world with yet another beautiful season. A season, that as it disappears, becomes more and more precious as we try to hold on to that beauty. But just as Autumns beauty comes and amazing lives form in front of our eyes, that beauty is not ours to keep. A new season comes, we experience it, but we can’t keep it, or hold it. God takes it back in order to send the next. We lost our 16yr old Joey. And his beauty and love, given in such a short time was a beautiful gift. Toby, God is always faithful. I know things are tough I have lived through hell and believe me it’s not ever easy. God is still love and he is still faithful. So lift your head up to where your help comes from. We are all with you my man.

My Heart is crushed. I grew up listening to DC Talk. A few years back Our youngest daughter was unrecognizable.. I clung to Toby’s Music and listened to the words over and over. I know and I feel their pain.

I am so sorry for your loss . I understand . I lost my daughter Jennifer 12 years ago She was 35 There is no greater pain . Your music and God got me through it . Still does .
