The GoFund Me account was created by one of Groove City High School Band parents, Dana Rutan for the Lannutti family who lost their son and GCHS band student Troy.

Excerpt from the page reads:

Dear friends of mine have had to face the worst fear a parent can face…the loss of a child. The Lannutti family has lost their precious son, Troy, this past Friday.

Unfortunately there is no life insurance to cover funeral expenses. This account is being set up to help with those costs and any others they might incur.

Please give whatever you can.

Each donation, no matter the size will help and will be so greatly appreciated. Let’s help alleviate some of their stress and help where we can.

They are a wonderful family and so appreciative of the outpouring of LOVE from everyone.
