Derryth Tegan Still Breathing MNet cast: Derryth Tegan death happened 8 February 2018 from breast cancer. She is sister to Tiffany Barbuzano, wife of SAFTA award-winning director Johnny Barbuzano.
Tiffany wrote the script and also stars in M-Net’s new local drama Still Breathing. Johnny Barbuzano (The River) helmed the series. Their children Jamie and Jesse make their acting debuts.
The 13-episode series which premieres on Thursday, 27 February at 20:00 on M-Net (DStv 101) centres on a group of former friends who are drawn together again after tragedy strikes.
Derryth Tegan’s family announced her death in 2018 in a statement that read:
Our darling daughter Derryth Tegan would have been 47 years old today. Happy birthday in heaven sweetheart 💔💔
Thank you for spending all those years with us and for giving us the most awesome, strong 3 grand daughters who we are so proud of. What they have achieved is absolutely amazing.
We are so happy to have the angels with us all the time and thank you for all the signs you send us when we need love and encouragement. There are so many days that we wouldn’t be able to cope with, if you weren’t with us !!!
