Brittney Sharp cause of death, obituary: Dr. Pimple Popper Brittany Sharp death happened May 2, 2019, two weeks before her 32nd birthday.
31 year old Brittney Denise Sharp was diagnosed with neurofibromatosis, Doctor Lee said it could affect her internal organs, and growths could grow close to her brain. Some people think this may be Brittney Sharp Memphis TN cause of death but it has never been confirmed.
Brittney Denise Sharp was featured on Dr. Pimple Popper season two, episode nine for large wart-like bumps that she had all over her body that appeared after she got pregnant with her daughter.
Her Dr Pimple Popper episode aired in March and she died in May.
Brittney Sharp had been struggling with the bumps for a long time, some as many as 11 years. She was engaged to be married and wanted to try to get rid of the bumps before her wedding.
She wasn’t even sure Dr. Lee could help her, but she still sought Dr. Lee’s help because she had never been able to find a doctor who could help her get rid of the bumps.
Brittney told Dr. Lee she had tried everything to get rid of the bumps:
“I’ve tried plenty of home remedies—tea bags, tying rubber bands around the big ones to try and cut the circulation off—but nothing works.”
After she examined Brittney Sharp’s bumps, Dr Lee said:
“When I feel these bumps, they’re a little rubbery. They’re flexible and spongy. You can feel when you push them into the skin and they bounce back out.
Pregnancy can do that to us; our skin can go whacko.”
Eventually, Dr. Lee was able to help Brittney remove the bumps.
TLC show aired a special tribute “IN LOVING MEMORY OF BRITTANY SHARP” and announced Brittany Sharp death after the show in a statement that read:

On last night’s episode of the extremely popular, but slightly gross docu-series Dr. Pimple Popper, the TLC show aired a special tribute to Season 2 (episode 9) patient Brittney.
Sadly, the 31-year-old Tennessee native passed away on May 2.

I was watching a rerun of Dr Pimple Popper who helped a pretty young black woman get rid of growths on her face and arms. Brittney is a pretty girl and looked so good after the large growths were removed. At the end of the showing they had “IN LOVING MEMORY OF BRITTANY SHARP” and it looked like she died. I can’t find anything that said what she died from. I find this incredibly sad. She appeared to be such a sweet girl and was engaged to be married.
OMG, I just found out that Britney Sharp from Dr. Pimple Popper died and I just want to say that God bless her soul and her family she seemed like such a kind woman with a big heart who had an 11-year-old daughter and was going to get married. Also, I think the cause of her death was her diagnosis that Dr. Lee gave her which started with a n and I remember Dr. Lee said something about getting close to the brain. Again God bless her whole entire family including her daughter and fiance
It is very rare that someone dies from NF1. Unless she had been diagnosed with cancer. It appears she died in the same year she had seen Dr. Lee, so it seems unlikely it was cancer. I find it interesting that no one posted the cause of death. Very odd. Either way, so sad for such a young person and now her 11 year old has to live without her.
It just isn’t our business, look at Obituaries in your local paper. We do not list how people passed because that’s personal. And it is irresponsible for anyone to try to connect the loss of such a young, kind and hopeful lady with what they saw on “reality TV”.
Thank you @Marcia for mentioning that this chronic condition, which can be so painful (I have several friends with varying symptoms, and I run support groups for chronic illnesses) but absolutely is not a fatal illness.
I can guess, but it would just be that – a guess. She was surrounded with people who obviously adored her. She is at least the second person who’s been on that show to pass away.. and Dr. Lee is very . careful to rule out cancer, as so many people do have real concerns about that. Just a sad loss of a young Mother.
Does it really matter ???? We lost our daughter in 2015 at the age of 45 . we were attendiing church regularly when it happen and when we return a few weeks later , every nosey parishoner wanted to know what happen>> It was very hurtful to keep talkin g about her death that we had to quit going to church,, quit asking if they want you tp know they will tell you.
FATHER GOD in JESUS NAME keep the family of Brittany and give them peace in the lost of sweet beautiful woman who has touched so many though we did not know her, but through the SPIRIT of GOD we got to know her from the deep love that the LORD has for us all who know HIM. THANK YOU LORD for allowing us to know Brittany afar.

I have seen this episode of her last year as well as Thursday night I was happy that she was able to feel pretty and that put a big smile on her face that made me smile. My heart goes out to her family
I watched Dr. Pimple Popper and was saddened to hear of Brittney’s passing. She was so kind and grateful that Dr. Lee was able to help her. I am praying for the family. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. John 14-18. May God give you peace and comfort.

I am a fan of the “Dr. Pimple Popper Show.” I was saddened at the death of one of her patients,, Brittany sharp. Britany impressed me as a very conscientious person, humble and grateful, and looking forward to a happier life. Only God knows why these things happen. RIP, sweet lady.

I remember that episode with Brittney and was so sadden when I heard of her passing. She seems like a loving caring person just ready to start her new life with the man of her dreams that she was engaged to and he seems happily in love with her. After Dr. Lee removed as many of the bumps on her face and neck she was really happy and she was a beautiful young woman. Rest in peace Brittney and my prayer is that her young daughter is being taken care of by loving family.
I saw at the end of the episode “In Loving memory of Brittany Sharp.” Totally blown away. I saw such a sweet heart and genuinely loving person. It made me cry when her fiance told her those were beauty marks, and he loved her sooo much. That was a very cute scene of them together. I am very sad right now. I send my prayers to all that loved her.
I live in Canada, I get this show Dr. pimple popper and I noticed Brittney Sharp. I loved the burgundy color in her hair, I noticed the beautiful eyes she had and how pretty she was. Not paying much attention as my granddaughter kept bothering me because she wanted to watch her dinosaur shows. I said I’m watching my show and at the end I noticed it was in loving memory. It’s not important what she died from, what’s important here is the world has lost a beautiful person.

While watching the show I noticed she had a large lump on her throat that was different than the superficial bumps on her face and body. I bet she had thyroid cancer.

I am just seeing the rerun of the episode that Brittney was on. When I first watched it I didnt notice the statement at the end of show. I googled to see what happened. She was so appreciative and happy that Dr. Lee helped her. She smiled so big afterwards that we all could see what a great person she was.

I just saw Dr. Pimple Popper with Brittany on it for the second time. I must have missed the end of the show the first time I saw it with in loving memory of, on it. However today I saw it again and I am sooo sad. Oh nooooo. I wanted her to be married and live happily with her husband and daughter ever after. Learning that she passed has me in tears. I watched the rerun show tonight with Brittany Sharp on it. She was such a sweet soul. She was beautiful inside and out. All you had to do was listen to her and she just made you smile. RIP Sweet Brittany. Prayers to her family and ftiends.
Really sad. For so many to be so moved by her death is a tribute to someone Really special. Her boyfriend should be happy to have had her in her life for the time he spent with her. She is with Good and I look forward to meeting her in heaven.

My older sister died in April 2022 and I felt the same way when I saw where Brittany Sharp had passed after appearing on Dr. Pimple Popper. God bless her soul and keep her young daughter in Your care and her family and fiance. She had such a loving spirit about her and was beautiful with and without the bumps on her face.
