Spent the better part of my morning talking to @ikosakioduwa and I just want to take out some time to appreciate this yummy man. Ik literally hired me on radio, I learnt sitting in on his show and he’s looked out for me since then. Extremely focused, a fine gentleman and lover of God. I appreciate you today as always bro, you’ve gone ahead and achieved so much and you keep pushing for more. The key to staying at the top is really focusing on your craft. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, be teachable and remain humble and ohh never forget the ones who put you on
Big Brother Africa host, Ikponmwosa Osakioduwa, was born on 21 May 1979 in Lagos Nigeria to parents Felicia Oviawe and Brigadier General Samuel Oviawe. He is a father of two and a Nigerian radio and television on air personality best known as “Wild Child”. The 38-years-old voracious presenter has definitely entertained our screens with his great personality, there is no doubt that he has brought charm and charisma to the Nigerian entertainment scene. He is known for his work with Rhythm 93.7 FM, presenter of Big Brother Africa and on MNet’s Studio 53.
Toke Makinwa on the other hand, is a Nigerian radio personality, television host, and vlogger. She is known for co-hosting The Morning Drive on Rhythm 93.7 FM and her YouTube vlog series Toke Moments.
Toke Makinwa was born in Abuja but her parents relocated to Lagos . She is from a large family , second child out of four siblings. Interesting enough she started schooling at the age of 1 . So i can say she is smart . She had her secondary education at Federal Government College ,Oyo State and majored in English language/Literature at the University Of Lagos .
Toke got back home after a while , got a job at Zenith Bank which i guess her parents would have been very excited about .But unfortunately and fortunately , her love for the media was in-separable and she refused to let that dream she has nurtured die .
She started her career as a radio presenter on Cool Fm in 1999, which was shortlived. In 2010 , fate smiled on her, as her long lived dream of returning back to the radio scene came alive when she got a job with Rhythm 97.3 Fm as an On Air Personality .
