The winner of the 2017 Big Brother Naija television show made the startling revelation that he has only N75,000 left out of the N25 million that he won last year, while he was a guest on a radio show on Hot FM.

When the radio host asked him, how much he had left of his prize money. Efe said;

“Yo man, I basically have like 75k in my account. It used to be 100k, but yesterday night, we went to the least expensive bar to chill with the 25k.”

  1. And he’s proud to say it. I was expecting the money have been multiplied due to some investment he made, but it’s so disappointing that the only record he has about how he’s spent the money is the expensive Bae he went to. When whooping sum of money hits one who lacks plan, that’s how they end. When the money finishes, what next?

  2. Who even knows if he is telling the the truth, but if that is the truth maybe he have in vested with the money beceif not his situation will be worst than the first. Like the dude anyway, success in your music career’s

  3. It is like you didn’t invest on the money wisely, you were busy shooting music videos and traveling abroad instead of investing

  4. Well, it won’t be bad if u have invested d money in establishing businesses or buying assets But if 25 million Naira got finish with no reasonable account of it, then u have disappointed ur fans and the youths in general.

    …..this life self

  6. Lol. this is funny and i am trying my possible best to understand it from so many angles. i want to…i really want to assume he has invested others into a venture that will yield lots of profit in the nearest future and i really hope hope its not the music he talked about that is the investment cos he is really hoping to get yields from this music…..then again if he literally means he has just 75k left from the 25mil winning (which i so much doubt), then something is seriously wrong with Efe. I know he doesnt have this entrepreneurial/ investment spirit but trust me this will be a shame if he is being sincere

  7. I don’t understand this, my question is WHAT HAVE YOU ESTABLISHED SINCE YOU WON THE MONEY????WHAT DID YOU DO WITH THE MONEY??? Hope you’ve not been living extra vagantly since then?

  8. This is very bad that u can not give account of how the money was spent and u are here proudly telling us u hv 75k in u acct

  9. This is foolishness and lack of innovation. He should be saying that he now have like 50 million. What has he invested the money on? Receive sense

  10. I can’t believe this story oh. Abi did he use the money to release all those songs that refuse to sell? Na wa oh. It still sounds unbelievable Shaaaa.

  11. How can he be saying this proudly? It’s funny but it’s not funny at all. Spending 25k lavishly on drinking is the worst decision ever!

  12. Having that amount left is not the problem it’s your money so you have the right to do it like way you like, but I hope you invested it on something that will bring money to you again….

  13. EASY MONEY.EASY IT COMES, EASY IT GOES.

BUT YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN THIS FRUSTRATING DILEMMA. ALL LOTTERY WINNERS HAS DEMONSTRATED THE SAME EXPERIENCE.THEY ALL BELIEVE THERE WILL BE A REPEAT PERFORMANCE.SOON.VERY SOON AND SO THEY GO ON SPENDING BINGE

MOST OF THE TIME WHEN WE COME INTO BIG MONEY, WE ARE NEVER READY TO LIFT OURSELVES OUT OF THE DOLDRUMS OF LIVE PERMANENTLY. NGN25 MILLION PASSED THROUGH YOUR HANDS AND STILL FAILED TO CAUSE YOU TO DECAMP THE RAT RACE FOREVER.

A LITTLE BIT OF FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE COULD HAVE RE POSITION YOU FOR LIFE THAT YOU NEVER WOULD WORK AGAIN FOR LIFE….BUT WELL YOU ARE YOUNG AND MAY REBOUND.

AT MMF (MONEY MARKET FUND), A PRODUCT OF FIRST BANK OF NIGERIA PLC , NGN 25M INVESTED AT 18.6 PERCENT ANNUALIZED INTEREST WILL PRODUCE OVER 13 MILLION NAIRA IN A YEAR FOR YOU. COURSE COMPOUNDED, THAT WILL EVEN BE MORE.
YOU COULD PAY YOURSELF APPROXIMATELY HALF A MILLION NAIRA MONTHLY DOING NOTHING WHILE YOUR MONEY IS HARD AT WORK FOR YOU FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

CHEER UP. IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT. NO BODY TOLD YOU.EVEN IF YOU WERE TOLD ,YOU WOULD NEVER HAVE BELIEVED BECAUSE IT WAS NEVER YOUR REALITY. IN AFRICA WE BELIEVE WE WORK FOR MONEY.MONEY CANNOT WORK FOR US.

A FRIEND ONCE TOLD ME THAT IF “I DO NOT FIND A WAY TO MAKE MONEY WHILE I SLEEP, I WILL WORK TILL THE LAST DAY OF MY LIFE”.I SAY THE SAME TO YOU.CHANGE YOUR REALITY.NOW.

THE OPPORTUNITY CAME AND IS GONE.BUT WHEN IT COMES AGAIN, REMEMBER TO DO THE NEEDFUL.

THE SUPER RICH MAKE A LOT OF THEIR MONEY AS THE SLEEP, BECAUSE OTHERS ARE WORKING FOR THEM. GET OTHERS TO WORK FOR YOU BY SETTING UP INVESTMENTS IN :

    – BUSINESS

    – STOCKS

    – REAL ESTATE ETC.

THE EASIEST APPROACH IS TO HAND YOUR MONEY OVER TO A FUND MANAGER LIKE MMF AND MONTHLY WRITE CHEQUES TO COVER YOUR LIVING EXPENDITURES.

    PEACE!!

  14. Lol this is lack of innovation truly. He should be saying that he now have like 50 million. What has he invested the money on?

  15. I think he is is being funny…he must have invested somhow …i dnt believe what he said.

  16. Efe i don’t trust you bit the fact still remains that there is more than that in your account all the best

  17. Thats exactly whats going to happen when the money you didn’t work hard to get, spending it without plans will follow

  18. Obviously he is joking. 75k out of 25m how na. If it’s really true that means he has made the worst mistake of his life because he obviously has not invested in anything tangible.

  19. That is not bad in the hope that you have made some investment with it, don’t tell me you could not account for the money

  20. You really scandal the money, you should have draw out a budget before spending the money. That is a lesson for you and those that don’t know how to spend.

  21. you lack moral upbringing and the money you don’t for that is how it is spent. That shows stupidity of the highest order

  22. I don’t feel he is saying the truth cos some companies made him an ambassador, even the song he released with olamide is still paying him.

  23. but it’s so disappointing that the only record he has about how he’s spent the money is the expensive Bae he went to.

  24. He cant be stupid to tell you the truth on radio after he came from a poor family. I believe he might have invested greatly in one business or the other.

  25. Does that mean you didn’t even invest in it? How I wish you could give 20k out of this 70,000k it would have changed my life for good.

  26. efe its so sad u had no plans fr the money ,u only won because u adted like a local warri boy and now u refused to listen to advised went into musiz u are nt good at,who will buy such music u do?????u are a disgraced efe
