Hours after fight with Mercy Aigbe, Lanre Gentry unveils plans to marry his lover

Lanre Gentry, the estranged husband to Mercy Aigbe, has unveiled plans to tie the knot with his new lover in a few months.

This is coming few hours after after Gentry and Mercy fought dirty on social media over Father’s day post.

The exchange of words started after Mercy Aigbe celebrated herself on father’s Day without acknowledging the role of a father figure in her children’s lives.

Reacting Lanre Gentry, blast the actress for living a life not worthy of being called wife or mother and denied being an irresponsible father adding he had helped the actress in the past to pay school fees of another man’s child

Mercy Aigbe fired back, calling him a shameless man and threatening to release evidence showing he has not been performing his responsibilities as a father.

In his latest post, the businessman called his former wife a prostitute who he would have exposed if not for their son.

In a recent interview with Ademola Olonilua of The Punch Newspaper, Lanre Gentry said he has no problem with Mercy Aigbe and revealed what transpired between them regarding the war of words on social media.

He said;

“I do not have any problem with Mercy and I am not fighting with her. She is the one that is fighting; I deserve to wish myself a happy Father’s Day whenever it is celebrated. Woli Agba made a funny skit which I liked; I reposted it on my page and wished myself a Happy Father’s Day.

The next thing was that she insinuated that the message I posted was directed at her. I told her the post was not direct to her. That was it. I do not have a problem with her, neither am I fighting with her. I am a man, so I do not believe in gossiping or backbiting; it is mostly women that do that. I do not need to join issues with Mercy.”
