Derrick Shippee, 28, was wanted in connection with two murders in Hinsdale. NH AG had announced warrants issued for Derrick Shippee, 28, for two counts of second degree murder in the shooting deaths of Neal Bolster, 29, and Aaliyah Jacobs, 19. The two were found dead in Hinsdale.

The search for Derrick began when police in Hinsdale conducted a welfare check at 240 Plain Road and found the bodies of Neal Bolster and Aaliyah Jacobs inside.

Autopsies performed Friday by the medical examiner determined that both victims died of gunshot wounds and their manner of death was homicide.

Vermont police had warned the public that Derrick may be in Vermont.

Authorities have now said the man wanted in a double-murder in New Hampshire has been found dead.

The New Hampshire attorney general’s office announced that Shippee’s body was discovered by police in Vernon, Vermont. The medical examiner will perform an autopsy to determine exactly how he died.

Police say Derrick Shippee shot and killed Neal Bolster, 29, and Aaliyah Jacobs, 19. Their bodies were found in a home on Plain Road in Hinsdale Thursday afternoon.

Shippee’s car was located at a family property in nearby Vernon, Vermont.

At this time, it is not yet known the victims’ connection to Shippee or a possible motive for the crime.

Back in 2017, Shippee was arrested in Brattleboro after allegedly getting caught with 3,500 bags of heroin, thousands in cash, and a gun.

The search is now off for Derrick Shippee, 28, wanted for double murder in Hinsdale; authorities late this afternoon found him dead in Vernon, Vt.

Autopsy is to be done by Vt. medical examiner.
