Admitting that depression is a silent killer, Nigerian singer, Harrysong took to Instagram to disclose that he is currently undergoing therapy.

Harrysong who advised other depression patients to learn to unburden themselves by telling those they trust, said he is currently getting back on his feet after his therapy session. Here is what he wrote below;

Thank you so much guys. My session with Miss. Oyinkansola Alabi went well and I am gradually getting my feet back. Always show love and be kind to people. Depression is a silent killer, learn to unburden your mind to trusted ones. I love you all #tekero

Recall also that Nigerian Singer Mocheddah disclosed that she battled with depression for 4 years. The singer revealed via Instagram live on Saturday, June 9, 2018, that she battled with depression for four years.

She went on to describe most of what she went through, assuring other victims that they would be fine while advising them to hang on to life. Mocheddah emphasized that most people who have never been depressed, especially Nigerians, would be unable to understand what it feels like.

Mocheddah who was reacting to the suicide reports of suicide by Anthony Bourdain and Kate Spade shared series of messages via her instastory, also stated that people should not just check on people but listen to them when they have things to say. Mo’Cheddah joined the list of celebrities who have come out to reveal that they have been depressed at some points in their lives.

Toyin Aimakhu had also revealed during an exclusive interview with Broadway TV, that she had her bout with depression and drug use. Revealing that her life has changed,  Toyin Aimakhu said “I worked on the negativity around me. I tried to be positive and I had to deal with depression and drugs.
