Gunshots at Federal Secretariat as police fight Shiite members

Attempts by members of the Islamic faction Movement of Nigeria (IMN) commonly recognized as Shi’ite on Thursday to create a crisis around the Federal secretariat failed as the police shot in the air to unsettle them.

Passersby and workers were forced into confusion around the area as they ran away from the uproar due to the gunshots.

Advocates of detained Shiite boss Ibrahim El- Zakzaky were out again to protest the detention of their leader.

Findings suggested that no one has been lost so far.
