The crème of high society, had on that fateful Friday, congregated at Iyin-Ekiti for the burial ceremony of Pa Oluwatoyin Owolabi Ajayi, who died last January 21. All was going well at the church ceremony, which had the minister of power and steel and Eniola’s mentor, Dr Kayode Fayemi and his wife, Erelu Bisi in attendance, until tragedy struck.
Sources disclosed that in the midst of the burial celebration. Ambassador Ajayi’s daughter, Dolapo, started to complain of headache. All efforts to relieve her on the spot proved to be exercise in futility. She was later rushed to a private hospital, where she gave up the ghost after the doctors tried their best to revive her.
