The Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha is currently at the State government Exco chamber hosting 2018 Big Brother Naija reality TV show winner, Miracle along side former housemate, Nina.
Miracle who hails from Umuoba Uratta in Owerri North LGA, of Imo State will be conferred with Imo State Education Award by the Governor and government of Imo State.
Nina is also an indigene of the state, but there have been concerns in some certain quarters on why she was not honoured by the state just like her counterpart, Miracle.
And some few days ago, Nina’s brother had even called out the governor of Imo State for not honoring his sister. He wondered why Miracle would be honoured while his sister is not, despite being a finalist on the Big Brother Naija reality TV show.
I wonder why they treat women this way and you people will not speak up. If government can honour miracle why would they not honor Nina too. For Gods sake she be finalist even as she be girl. Girls from imo state tomorrow fit be una turn ooo. I don talk my own. Tag Imo girls , Imo female celebrities, abi dem no go talk? Let me face my family problems😔 truth is better😊

The Special Assistant to Governor Rochas Okorocha on Entertainment, Hon. Chukwunoye Irouno, had earlier released a statement today on the reception that will be accorded to Miracle, the winner of the Big Brother Naija show.
The statement said:
“The reception will witness the investiture of Igbokwe as Education Ambassador of Imo State by Governor Rochas Okorocha.
“The state government has set aside Thursday, May 3, to celebrate Mr. Miracle Igbokwe, who strongly believes in free education which is the most cardinal policy of the Rescue Mission Government of Governor Rochas Okorocha.”
“Igbokwe who was credited as the best behaved contestant was popular with his promotion of Governor Rochas Okorocha’s free education policy in Imo State and was so patriotic about it.
“He confessed it publicly during a debate presentation where he said ‘I believe in education just like my Governor Rochas Okorocha.’
Due to this single display of true patriotism, the state government honoured him as Imo Education Ambassador.”
