Gokada to rebrand as delivery company after Lagos state #OkadaBan

Following the ban of Okada on major highways and bridges in Lagos state, Gokada has revealed that it would be re-branding to go into delivery.

The CEO of Gokada, the bike-hailing company with operations based in Lagos, Fahim Saleh, the company will be pivoting towards deliveries since the Lagos state government has place a ban on Okada and tricycles in major areas of the state.

Reacting to the news that they company laid off a man who used to work with them before the ban, Fahim stated;

while much of your report is accurate, we still have money in the bank and are pivoting towards deliveries while this transport ban gets sorted. We were due to make profit in January before the ban was announced.
