The founder and leader of the Zoe Outreach Embassy in Ghana, pastor Kelvin Kwesi Kobiri, was attacked by angry church members over claims he issued dud cheques to them after they invested in his two companies.
The incident is said to have happened at the premises of the Tarkwa Circuit Court in Tarkwa, Western Region on Monday, December 16, 2019.
Pastor Kobiri had arrived at the premises of the Court to respond to a suit against him for allegedly issuing three dud cheques. However, the judge in charge of the case was reported to be on vacation so the court could not deal with the case within the given time frame.
When he was about leaving the court premises, angry members who invested in his company without getting nothing in return, pounced on him to attack him.
The angry customers would have beaten him mercilessly, but for the timely intervention of some men around the court premises.
In the video below, several young men were seen shoving him violently as they demanded he paid them back their money or he was going no where.
