A Nike store in Chicago was looted and damaged by protesters during protest against the murder of George Floyd.
Mr Floyd was an unarmed black man who died after a Minneapolis police officer kneeled on his neck for more than eight minutes as he told them “I can’t breathe”.
Floyd’s death has sparked mass protests across the US, with governors in several states calling in National Guard troops in an attempt to maintain order.
A trail of damage marked the path where protesters marched in downtown Chicago, leaving behind broken windows, graffiti and the damaged remains of some of the city’s most popular shops.
In a video that is going viral on social media, a mob can be seen destroying a Nike showroom in Chicago and looting the merchandise present inside the store. Vandalising and looting of stores and offices have been going for days now.

Various cities have imposed a curfew and mobilised the national guard to take control of the situation. Several thousand people have been arrested so far with US President Donald Trump calling it a professionally organised protests.
For the last two days, protesters have been laying siege to the White House forcing the Secret Service to lockdown the presidential estate.
