George Clooney, who was on his way to a film set at Sardinia, Italy when a Mercedes car struck his motorbike, was reportedly rushed to the hospital after the accident.
The Hollywood actor and director who has been discharged, was found to be suffering slight trauma to his pelvis and bruising to his knee and arm. The accident according to Sardinian newspaper Nuova Sardegna occurred when the car was turning.
“George Clooney at the hospital: with his bike he ended up against a car that was turning,” the post read when translated from Italian to English.

Clooney relocated his family to Sardinia, the second largest Island in the Mediterranean Sea, so he could film TV miniseries Catch 22, according to The Sun. The US actor is directing, producing and starring in the six episode miniseries based on Joseph Heller’s famous novel.
Set in Italy during World War II, Catch-22, follows the story of the artful dodger Yossarian, a bombardier for the US Air Force, who is furious because many others he has never met are trying to kill him. The series is being produced for Hulu . The upcoming six-part drama is set to air in 2019.
Clooney on the other hand has a home on Lake Como which is on the Italian mainland. The famed actor and director George Clooney was born on May 6, 1961, in Lexington, Kentucky. Due to the nature of his father’s work, George Clooney and his older sister, Ada, moved several times to various locations throughout Kentucky and Ohio with their parents. In 1974, they settled down for good in a rambling, old Victorian home in downtown Augusta, Kentucky, a small town on the Ohio River about an hour south of Cincinnati.
