Yesterday Tuesday, on the Italian island of Sardinia about 7am, 57 year old Clooney collided with a Mercedes when it turned into his lane as he tried to ride past.
Video taken from a fixed security camera, obtained by Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, shows another rider managed to get around the car, but Clooney, believed to be riding nearby, was reportedly hit.
In the video, he is seen flipping over the handlebars of his scooter, flying into the air, appearing to hit the windscreen of the car, before tumbling onto the asphalt.

The George Clooney accident video was recorded by a nearby surveillance cam and it proves it’s freakin’ amazing he even survived. The video reveals how close George Clooney came to catastrophe during the head-on scooter crash in Italy.
Clooney was doing 60 mph when the Mercedes-Benz cut him off, video shows the Oscar winner was thrown nearly 20 feet straight up above the Benz.
Clooney is seen smashing back down to the ground after the collision. He landed just inches from the front of a truck waiting at the intersection.
The video also shows something else that’s new — a second scooter. Someone riding next to George narrowly dodged the car, just milliseconds before he wrecked.
After the accident, George was briefly hospitalized for bruising on his arm, leg and pelvis.
He’s already home recovering.
