Fulanis from Niger Republic intercepted in Enugu (Video)

Some Fulanis said to be from Niger Republic have been intercepted in Enugu state, by Taskforce officials of Enugu South Local Government Area.

The Fulanis were intercepted on Tuesday May 11, along Enugu-Port Harcourt Flyover Garki in Enugu State.

While some of the Niger Republic nationals ran into the bushes and markets, those apprehended by the taskforce and members of the community were paraded alongside items they came into the state with.

It is not clear what their aim in the state is, but the efforts of the Taskforce officials have been commended by residents of the state who are on the alert, especially at this period that the deadly coronavirus disease is being spread across the country.
