Former Presidential Aspirant, Adamu Garba berates those condemning large gathering at Abba Kyari’s burial

Former Presidential Aspirant, Adamu Garba berates those condemning the large gathering at Abba Kyari’s burial held today at Abuja.

He took to his social media page where he wrote;

I don’t know why some people condemn gathering at Late Abba Kyari’s funeral. This calls to question whether we want to run a communist state or capitalist one. Abba Kyari was a senior citizen & statesman, his burial couldn’t have been same with that of others This is capitalism

Capitalism is made this way to encourage all of us, including YOU reading this text, to work harder and get to stage of privilege and recognition. Not to seat in one corner with your keyboard and feel entitled like other good citizens who have worked hard to earn a privileged.

1. @NCDCgov should be there to ensure compliance & adherence to the extant protocols. This is a case of national emergency under their care.

2. @NCDCgov should ensure mass isolation of all those who violated the said protocols & are at risk of high exposure. What have they done?

If I’m the President today, the Minister of Health and the head of NCDC will be held accountable for any case identified for the sake of the funeral.

Some people have to be accountable for the life of others. That’s governance.
