Flights to Abuja cancelled as Airport seriously flooded

The Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, is flooded at the moment.

The water wave has hit the front stretch of the arrival and departure area. This happened after a heavy rain at the nation’s capital Thursday morning.

It was deduced that all morning flights to Abuja from most of the nation’s airports have been cancelled because of the bad weather.

It is not sure if the newest development would make the government to carry out design improvement to prevent flood at the airport.
