According to a report gathered from Facebook, a lot of Nigerians have expressed their dissatisfaction with the action of an ignorant fisherman who was seen in viral photos posing with a big dolphin he allegedly killed.

According to reports reaching Lailasnews.com, the man killed the dolphin yesterday at Ibeno local government in Akwa Ibom State. Many people have called for his arrest.

Nigerians on social media have tackled the man for allegedly killing a dolphin. The unnamed man was slammed by various social media users who felt he was wrong to have killed such a docile animal that poses no harm to humans.

Sharing the news on social media, Imo City News wrote:

“This dolphin was killed today in Ibeno local government in Akwa Ibom State.

‘A humble fish that can save people from dying in water was killed by a Nigerian.”
