A final year Sociology student of the Lead City University, Ibadan, Oyo State, has lost his life in an accident involving his car, just some few moments after informing a friend that the car wanted to kill him.
Daniel Ilesanmi aka Smade, who just wrote is final exam and submitted his project, died this evening after losing control of the car which ended up being cut into two after veering off its lane and crashing into an SUV, along the Challenge – toll gate.
A witness at the scene described the accident as an incident that happened in a flash. According to him, all they heard was tyres screeching and then a loud banging sound before they realised it was a fatal accident.
He reportedly bought the car about three weeks back
One other person also died in the crash.
Smade recently won the award of the “Multimedia Practitioner of the Year” in the Lead City University Awards which held in April 2018.
Ever since the news of his demise broke on campus, his friends have been pouring tributes to him on their variou social media timelines. With a lot of them describing him as a man with a gentle personality and who thought of everyone before himself.
