Ernestine Romero death: Jesse Saucedo and wife, Ernestine Romero were found dead in a parking lot in downtown Santa Fe.
The shooting happened in a parked car near the intersection of Don Gaspar Avenue and De Vargas Street near downtown.
The bodies of Ernestine and Jessie Saucedo were discovered by Santa Fe police outside the parking lot of the State Education Department.

Beloved Ernestine was 32 years old before her tragic death. She celebrated her last birthday July 10, 2019.
Police are staying tight-lipped about how exactly Ernestine Romero died. While police wouldn’t confirm if this was a murder-suicide, Santa Fe police say they are not looking for any suspects.
Just this past weekend, Ernestine performed at the Las Vegas Fourth of July Fiestas. Last Wednesday, Ernestine’s Facebook was flooded as she celebrated her birthday, and last week, her second wedding anniversary to Jessie.
Romero is an award-winning Santa Fe singer who released nine albums. She was set to perform at the Taos Fiestas next weekend and on a “Como La Flor” cruise dedicated to Selena next year.
