Peaceful protesters has stormed the National Assembly in Abuja, as they demand justice against the brutality of men of the Special Anti- Robbery Squad.
The protesters on Thursday, October 14, stormed the entrance to the NASS for several hours, while calling on justice for victims of SARS and police brutality.
One of the protesters, Obianuju Iloanaya demanded justice for her brother, Chijioke Iloanaya who was last seen in SARS custody in 2012.
She said she is convinced that SARS gang led by CSP James Nwafor had killed him.
While crying, Obianuju sought justice for her brother and every other victim of police brutality.
Speaking today during plenary after the upper chamber was briefed by the Senate Leader, Yahaya Abdullahi, All Progressives Congress, APC, Kebbi North on the intervention by the leadership to wade into the matter, President of the Senate said that the National Assembly would ensure that the five demands made to the Executive by #EndSARS protesters are implemented.
