#EndSARS protesters have spoken on the traumatic experience they faced as soldiers of the Nigerian Army fired live bullets at them at the Lekki Toll Plaza.
There were reports of massive shooting by security agents at protesters on Tuesday evening at the Lekki Toll Gate.
The shooting led to the death of several people as many were also injured.
Security operatives had stormed the scene of the protest after the Lagos Government announced a 24-hour curfew and opened fire, with the intent to kill many people.
As many turned up to social media to share the Live video clips of the tragic incident, many people could be seen with various degrees of injuries. The scale of the damage could not be ascertained.
In a recent interview video, eyewitnesses said the security operatives fired live bullets at protesters who were peacefully gathered at the Lekki Toll Plaza.
This, they said, resulted in the death of several persons with many others injured.
The witnesses said some government officials had come in the evening to unmount the CCTV cameras stationed at the toll gate.
They added that while the security operatives were carrying out the shooting, the light at the scene was put out.
In some of the videos shared on social media, people cluster together as they struggle to save some of those who sustained gunshot wounds during the incident.
