#EndSars: Lagos Youth representatives asked to sign Oath of Secrecy

The Oath of secrecy which was vehemently opposed by the representatives was seen as a move by the government to remove transparency from the outcomes of the panel sitting.

Taking to social media, youths across the state called out the government over what they consider an alleged attempt to silence them and sweep under the carpet the reports of the investigations that will be carried out by the panel.

One of the social media activists actively involved in the struggle, Bamikole Omoshore took t his page to report the issue.

He wrote:

I don’t understand the need for oath of secrecy. @SavvyRinu
And Majekodunmi are the representatives of the youth, we stand solidly with them. They should not sign any oath of secrecy. @jidesanwoolu
should actually see that the panel is public and televised. #EndSARS

In their reaction, youth across the state blasted the goverment and their reps over the move.

We’re fighting for transparency in governance and the first move the governor is making is to “COUNTER” transparency. Ambode was right.
Asides this man being a puppet, he’s got no sense either.

Rinu and co should be smart before they rope them and say they accepted something they didn’t. They shouldn’t agree to this nonsense.
