Nigerian singer, Harrison Tare Okiri, better known by his stage name Harrysong, has told Northern youths that the #EndSARS protest is not about politics, tribe or religion.
Nigerians are currently protesting across the country against police brutality and illegal activities of the Nigeria Police Force.
As Nigerians take to the street to protest against police brutality, there have been reports of counter protests in the northern region of the country against the movement.
In some cases, some youths in the region have resorted to violence in a bid to keep #EndSARS protesters off the street.
This incidences has led to loss of lives and properties across the northern region.
Many Nigerians have since come up to explain that the northern youths are suppose to join the movement rather than antagonize it.
They state that the insecurity issue which has plagued the northern region for some time now should be justifiable reason to take them to the streets.
In a recent video sighted by LailasNews, singer Harrison Tare Okiri, better known by his stage name Harrysong, called on the northern youths to join the movement.
According to him, the protest is not about politics, tribe or religion, but for the betterment of Nigeria.
