The President, Muhammadu Buhari, is currently in a meeting with the leaders of the National Assembly over the ongoing protests against Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS)
The meeting which is currently holding inside the presidential villa in Abuja. The meeting is attended by the senate, Ahmad Lawan; and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.The Personal Assistant to the President Buhari on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, has disclosed on Twitter. He wrote;
“President @MBuhari currently meeting with Senate President, @DrAhmadLawan and Speaker, @femigbaja on the ongoing #EndPoliceBrutality protests,” he wrote.
After meeting with President @MBuhari, Senate President, @DrAhmadLawan and Speaker @femigbaja appealed to Nigerian youth to end the #EndPoliceBrutality protests across the country as the government heard and accepted their genuine demands and working to address all of them.
