After his death, Tygerberg Animal Hospital released a statement that described the veterinarian as an outstanding clinician and an incredibly thoughtful and well respected colleague who will be sorely missed.

In a statement, Tygerberg Animal Hospital, TAH Bellville said Dr Nolan was a very private person and in keeping with how he chose his life, we ask that his family and the TAH family be given space and privacy to grieve and come to terms with everything.
Out of respect to the family, we cannot provide any further details pertaining to his sad passing.
