Detroit shooting during music video shoot on Detroit’s east side

A Detroit shooting during a music video shoot early Friday in the 8200 block of Edgewood at about 12:45 a.m has left two men, a 25-year-old and a 30-year-old, injured.

The two men were transported to an area hospital, the 25 year old is in stable condition while the 30-year-old man is in critical condition.

Detroit shooting:

Police were told by the 25-year-old that he was with “several other people” and they were filming a music video when someone started firing shots. He didn’t see the shooter.

According to police, two vehicles hit each other. After the crash, the people inside the vehicles then started shooting at each other. Two people have reportedly been taken into police custody.

An active investigation into this incident is ongoing.
