“And Esuru Ilekpere the man standing with me emerges overall first in the maiden edition of Reward for Abigborodo Indigense with 10 children and Above with 21 children…
Prof Lucky Akaruese Delivers keynote address and believe you me, I had a second thought of increasing the numbers of my Children to 200😂. However, the spirit is willing but the flesh remains weak. One thing that caught my attention in today’s event was, the numbers of persons that came out to receive the reward. They were over 15 people with over 10 children; that is to say, we had one with 21, 2 with 18, 3 with 15, 4 with 13, 5 with 12, 6 with 11 and 7 with 10. Just after the award, another set of 7 people came out to agitate that they had over 12 children each. However, The chairman of Abigborodo community, Comrade Monday Agbeyi Promised them that there will be another batch of recipient in the coming days.
Oh Boy, when I see the numbers of persons wen Get over 10 children for Abigborodo, they are about 15. If you do the Small arithmetic, in the next 10yrs, Abigborodo would be populated with alot of Itsekiris. Let me use this medium to appeal to other Itsekiri Communities to also follow suit and encourage their people to Give birth..”
