Davido’s DMW terminates contract with Lil Frosh for assaulting girlfriend

Davido Music Worldwide Limited, has terminated their contract with Sani Goriola a.k.a Lil Frosh, for physically assaulting his girlfriend.

This is coming after the rapper was called out by the brother and manager of his girlfriend, Gift Camille on Monday, October 5, 2020.

According to the brother of the victim, Michael, Lil Frosh has been assaulting his sister for a while now, and even went as far as threatening her with her nude photos.

In a statement released this afternoon October 6, Davido said his label has conducted its investigation and is left with no option than to immediately terminate Lil Frosh’s contract. Davido added that his label does not in any way condone domestic violence.

The statement read;

“In light of recent allegations made against Mr. Sanni Goriola Wasiu a.k.a. Lil Frosh, we would like to state that as a record label, domestic violence is not a trivial matter and we will never support or condone such behavior.

There is no excuse for the actions of Lil Frosh and we understand that there is nothing that can be said or done to take away the insensitivity shown. Upon internal investigations carried out by the label, we are left with no option than to terminate the recording contract that exists between the label and Lil Frosh, effective immediately.

We hereby immediately severe all affiliations with Mr. Sanni Goriola Wasiu a.k.a. Lil Frosh.
Once again, we do not condone domestic violence and stand with all victims of domestic violence.”
