Davido has stated that he has given up on democracy as news surfaced that his uncle Senator Ademola Adeleke has been arrested and will be arraigned in court today.

Taking to social media, the singer shared a message to show support for the embattled senator:

Stay strong Uncle D ! GOD IS GREAT AND HE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS A SAY

He added:

I GIVE UP ON DEMOCRACY

Davido replied:

Who dey come Naija? U be idiot I’m fighting to make the country better nah you know. I’m out here in LA CHILLING ON THE BEACH SMOKING A FAT BLUNT! Don’t worry bout me fool

The fan fired back by reminding the singer that making the country better doesn’t entail support for Yahoo boys which he says the singer does.

  2. @Davido this is not about democracy but about the allegation that your uncle forged his school certificate and lied under oath. Hence before you give up on democracy could you do us a favour by answering this question “did uncle Ademola Adeleke forge his school certificate or not?
