COZA founder and senior Pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo has now surrendered to the Police for questioning over the rape allegations against him.
The senior pastor at the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo, has surrendered to the Nigeria Police in Abuja for questioning over the rape allegations against him by Busola Dakolo.
to the Nation, Fatoyinbo is being interviewed by a team of Four led by Asst Commissioner of Police Adaku Uche Anya.
Fatoyinbo is currently being interrogated at Police Force CID Headquarters in Abuja. Fatoyinbo is expected to be at the division for a while as Dakolo’s questioning reportedly took about eight hours.
In a June, Busola Dakolo who is a celebrity photographer and wife of singer Timi Dakolo during a tell-it-all interview accused Fatoyibo of raping her twice when she was a teenager.
A former staff of COZA church also stepped up, hiding her identity to accuse the Pastor of also raping her while she worked with him.
Due to protests at the church’s branches in Lagos and Abuja after the allegations were made, Fatoyinbo had to step down from the pulpit for investigations to be carried out, however, he has since returned to the altar.
