As activities resume in Lagos today – despite being the epicenter of coronavirus in Nigeria – social distancing guidelines have been largely disregarded by people.
As at the time of filing this report, there are 1107 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Lagos state, as many fear that the cases might spike with the recent resumption of activities.
Recall that the Lagos State Government agreed to open up the state in phases, in line with President Buhari’s directive few days ago.
However following the resumption of activities in different parts of the state today May 4, some social media users have been sharing videos and photos to give an insight on the state of things in their communities.
A social media user shared the image of a crowded bus stop in Lagos, as residents were jampacked together, waiting for the next bus.
