Again confirmed COVID-19 patients have taken to the streets of Gombe state to protest, as they demand better welfare.
The patients who are being isolated at the Federal Teaching Hospital in Gombe staged the protest over claims of lack of food and medical attention.
This new protest is coming days after a similar incident happened at the Kwadom Isolation Centre in Yamaltu Deba Local Government Area of the state.

Confirming the incident, the state police command spokesperson, SP Mary Malum, said the situation has been brought under control and the protesting patients have been returned to the isolation center.
”The issue has been brought under control. They have been taken back to Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe. They have been returned back” she said
