Coronavirus in Enugu: Patient isolated and tested

A patient suspected to have the Coronavirus disease in Enugu has been isolated after showing symptoms.

In an update by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, this is one of the numerous alerts received on a daily basis, so there is no cause for alarm.

Taking to their official Twitter page, the NCDC wrote:

“The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control is aware of the patient in Enugu, suspected to have COVID-19. This is one of several alerts received daily at the National COVID-19 Emergency Operations Centre.
“The patient is in isolation, sample collected and results expected tomorrow.”
