A Chinese restaurant in Lagos, the Haufei Restaurant has been closed down for denying Nigerians services.
According to a statement released by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, FCCPC, the action was taken against the restaurant after a citizen reported their activities on social media.

The statement reads:
Today, FCCPC closed Haufei Restaurant & Mall 33 Aboyade Cole, VI based on credible intel & surveillance that the biz declines service to Nigerians. Staff of the biz admitted this is the policy & our operatives experienced same. Both now closed for further regulatory action.

A Nigerian lady had taken to social media to call the restaurant out after they refused to serve she and her friends in the restaurant.
According to her, the management revealed that it is their policy not to serve Nigerians and that citizens can only buy and leave, but cannot sit in the restaurant.
