For Those going
Gagas over my
Princess Dewy’s post.
The best thing about being true to yourself is that nobody can insult you by telling you what you have just told them.
Acceptance has to come from,

Dewy Oputa had before now now appeared in a ‘fierce’ promotional photos with her father, Charly Boy. The said picture which went viral online showed Charly Boy and his last daughter, Dominique, both wearing make-up and locked in an embrace.
In a chat with Sunday Scoop, Charly Boy re-iterated that he is not bothered about whatever people say about the pictures.
“I have not come to this life to be thinking about what useless, conservative, hypocritical Nigerians think. I do my own thing, and people can think whatever they like. If I was always worried about the opinion of people, I wouldn’t have gotten to this point. I’m supposed to set trends and that is why it has taken me this long to come back with a show. All the things I did on the Charly Boy Show are what people are now doing these days. It’s just that we don’t value history and nobody remembers the past, or who the pioneers are.
I’m a master of the game, and I’m only interested in dispatching some of the knowledge I’ve garnered in my 65 years on earth and to share it with young people. 40 years ago when I had my ears pierced and I started wearing ear rings, people said all sorts of things like I’m wayward, and that they pity my father. But today, you can’t count the number of people putting on ear rings, and it has become more of a fashion fad. When I start some of these things, they seem abnormal, but don’t blame me if I’m ahead of my time,” he said.
