Chantilly shooting: Shooting Chantilly VA suspect is in custody after the deadly incident that left one man dead and another woman hurt.
Reports say the woman was not shot and is expected to be okay.
Chantilly shooting:
The shooting occurred in Fairfax Co. parking lot along U.S. Route 50 in Chantilly, Virginia, west of Virginia Route 28, early Friday, at approximately 1:30 a.m., in the strip shopping center.
Police believe there was an altercation in the parking lot before the shooting. It is not clear whether the shooter and suspect knew each other, or why they were in the parking lot at 1:30 a.m.
Fairfax County police spokesperson Emilie Voss said:
“Our officers responded to the scene, they did find one person who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead,” said
Responding officers “were able to gather several people who were in the area for the shooting
“We do believe that we have the shooter in custody, at this point.”,
Police added that there is not a current threat to public safety.

Meanwhile, it was a violent night in Detroit – there were five shooting scenes that has left six people shot – one 18 year old dead, two little girls critically hurt in an apparent drunk driving accident.
