The Catholic Diocese of Sokoto marched wearing all black outfits in memory of all the victims of Nigeria’s killing field.
Catholic Diocese of Sokoto in NW Nigeria stepped out in mass led by Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah of Kukah Centre, marched in memory of all the victims of Nigeria’s killing fields to ask that the souls of those who died are accepted by God and the hearts of the people behind the killings be touched and changed.

The millions of Christians in Nigeria decided to wear all black for ash Wednesday, to show their grievances over the killings in Nigeria and the insecurity situation of the country after the Diocese of Roman Catholic Church in the country mobilised its members all over the world to pray for the current insecurity challenges of the country.
