Cardi B’s team has vehemently denied Nicki Minaj’s claim that Cardi B’s career is built on payola, paying for radio play.
Nicki also said Cardi will die if she keeps on attacking people tthe way she did her at the Harper Bazaar party last Friday.
Trouble had started at the party when Cardi accused Nicki of talking bad about her daughter, baby Kulture and Cardi’s parenting skill. A claim Nicki has denied.
The fight ended with Cardi throwing a shoe at Nicki and Cardi being escorted out of the party with a giant lump on her head and torn clothes.
It hasn’t being up to 5 hours since Nicki claimed Cardi’s career was built off sympathy and payola and Cardi’s team has clapped back.
Calls Nicki’s allegations “ridiculous,”, they told The Blast that Cardi has never paid any radio station money or material items to play her music, calling the accusations “absolutely false.”
The team however admitted that Cardi’s former manager, Klenord “Shaft” Raphael (who is now suing her) did “harass and bother” DJ’s to play Cardi’s tunes, but that it wasn’t Cardi’s plan.
