The University of Iowa announced the student and Burge resident’s death in an email to Burge Hall residents and encouraged students to use resources on campus and within the residence halls

Embedded counselors were available to students from 1-3 p.m. Oct. 13 in the Burge private dining room. All community members were encouraged to attend.
